Blue Bloods Season 12 just started this year with an amazing set of new episodes that help us discover more about the characters as well their arc. Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess are the ones who have created this police procedural drama series. The show aired for the first time back in 2010 on CBS. The camera throws light on the Reagans family. They all have police officers in the group working in New York City. The head of the family is Frank Reagan who is a police commissioner with three grown children. The trio works at the law enforcement. The oldest of the three is Danny. He happens to be a pragmatic detective. Then we have the middle child Erin who is an assistant district attorney who tries to prosecute a variety of offenders that Danny sends in.
Then we have the third child named Jamie who has studied law from Harvard and is currently working as a patrol cop for the NYPD. Previously on the show with the first episode of season 3 titled Hate is Hate, Danny is trying to get help from a psychic. He wants their assistance in solving the murder of a young boy. On the other hand, we see Frank who is on unhappy terms with the mayor. He is trying to save the city from an upgrade in crime. This situation has come forth after the brutal shooting of a high-profile case. Erin, on the other hand, is seen investigating a very old case from more than a year ago.
Blue Bloods Season 12 Recap
After this, in the second episode titled Times Like These, we witness that Frank and Mayor Chase are not having great chemistry. This happens after we see that Frank has made an arrest that does not sit well with the Mayor and it goes viral on social media platforms. On the other hand, we witness Danny as well as Baez trying to search about an attack caused by some gang in the city. Although, this turns into a shocking turn all of a sudden. Eddie and Jamie are having their share of differences in the relationship. Jamie is especially is quite suspicious of Eddie and thinks she is lying about where she goes in the evenings.
In the most recent third episode of the 12th installment titled Protective Instincts, we saw Frank in a bit of trouble. He has to opt between two options. The first one is to stay right where he is at and work as a police commissioner. The second one, however, is to go on and pursue a new chapter in his life with a very exciting job offer that is presented before him by one of his old friends. During the concluding moments of this episode, we saw Danny and Baez on a case together. They are trying to investigate the murder of a delivery man who works at the restaurant.
