Blind Episodes 9 & 10 – Recap
In “Blind” episode 9, Sung-jun explores the link between jurors and welfare hope. Sung-hoon provides the video of Jung Mnan Chun’s true killer at their mother’s request. Sung-Jun and Eun Ki resumed their investigation and located individuals connected to the Hope Welfare Center. Sung-Jun discovers that Sung-hoon is a boy aged 11 after viewing the photo given by the nuns from Sarang Orphanage.
When Mr. Baek & his men come, they beat up and torment Sung-jun in front of Sung-Hoon. However, Sung-hoon had already complained to the police when the cops showed up there and took Sung-Jun. After getting his vengeance on Sung-jun, Chief Yeom tells Investigator Kang to assassinate Mr. Baek, noting that it’s not his first murder because he previously smothered Jung Man-kid Chu with a pillow.
While carrying out Chief Yeom’s directive, Detective Kang makes an effort to make a deal with Mr. Baek to learn the Chief’s secrets. Detective Kang follows MR. Baek request to be released from his handcuffs, but immediately after, he is attacked. Then Mr. Baek attacks Sung-jun. Chief Yeom informs the media that Mr. Baek seems to be the actual perpetrator of Jung Man Chun & his family’s deaths.
Sun Jun’s identity is made evident. The body of Mr. Baek’s deceased wife is discovered in his freezer, but Sung-jun is unable to tie him to Detective Kang. But when he dials the unlisted number Mr. Baek regularly uses, he learns that it belongs to Chief Yeom. Chief Yeom was the person who let Charles’ parents know that their child wasn’t in the Hope Welfare Center after Charles’ elder brother went missing.
Kyung ja had seen the youngsters being pulled by men as Mr. Bae appeared to have halted an investigation show about the center. She also remembers how she perceived the child, 13, as having a bloody future.
Sung-jun and his crew rewatch the video of Kang Ha-na’s wedding and notice An Tac-ho pursuing a man who is completely black. After that, Sung-jun remembers visiting his brother that same day. When Yu-na notices that Sung-hoon is pursuing Eun-ki, he rewards her in return for her quiet.
While Sung-jun pursues another of Mr. Back’s men and encounters Nurse Jo, Sung-hoon verifies from his previous trial files that Nurse Jo had worked at Hope Welfare Center. Sung-jun first sees the picture of Yoon-jung, Yoon-jae, with Gabriel at the conclusion of Episode 10. He finds the chiseled numbered boys in Sung-chamber hoon’s and understands that child 11 is Sung-hoon.
