Blind Episode 8 “Murder Notice” – Recap
Blind’s eighth episode opens in the background once again, with a shaman in the woods beating a drum and summoning the ghosts. When all the lamps are extinguished, Crazy Dog & his soldiers, instead of a ghost, materialize and surround the youngsters, preventing them from fleeing. She receives pleading from the children. She trembles as she gestures toward Moon-Kang, warning him that he must kill Sung-Joon or else he will perish.
When a second victim turns up at the ceremony in the present, the members of the jury in attendance wonder who could be to blame. During their interrogation, Detective Na is called in to watch the CCTV tape. They witness Tae-Ho stumbling out of the room there.
While watching Tae-Ho descend to the parking lot, Sung-Joon, who was also present, tried to catch up with him on the stairway but failed. Sung-Joon claims that Sung-Hoon attended the wedding reception as well, but his brother broadens his eyes incredulously and informs him that he wasn’t. Eun-Ki appears and gives the pair a reality check as they are about to investigate in the proper manner. The argument between the two is childish, and a woman is dead.
The trio eventually cooperates in their search for Tae-whereabouts. Ho’s Together, Sung-Joon, and Sung-Hoon leave. There, a woman who overheard their conversation confirms that Tae-Ho did, in fact, damage his leg while rescuing a pregnant lady from a speeding truck.
Curiously, Sung-Joon begins to experience strange flashbacks to the past involving visions of a young child falling. Eun-Ki learns the following day that Investigator Kang is heading there thanks to a tip. Sung-Joon is visible to Yu-na, who is also present. Sung-Joon is exposed as a serial killer, but she agrees not to denounce him in return for a prize.
Having lost, Sung-Joon and Eun-Ki return to the hiding place and bemoan the fact that the murderer is playing both Sung-team Joon’s and the police. When they review the video, Tae-Ho speaks and claims to have been the one to inform Crazy Dog of the departure strategy. He was unaware that Number 24 would perish. He hasn’t been able to fall asleep soundly since, tormented by remorse. Tae-Ho apologizes while crying into the camera after accepting his impending fate.
By the end of the episode, Sung-Joon starts having flashbacks, but as he digs down further, he also discovers the hooded figure. Sung-Joon pursues this unidentified attacker along the dim hallways… until he receives a syringe injection from behind. He eventually passes out on the floor, groggy and fighting for consciousness, shortly after the timer expires and Tae-Ho is slain.
