Fans are very excited to find out about the release date of the next Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Episode 21. In the last episode of the show, we had one of the most highly anticipated fights of the entirety of Bleach:
Thousand Year Blood War Arc anime. It features the fan-favorites Kenpachi Zaraki making his triumphant return to the battlefield with his newly acquired powers, combined with his opponent, who just so happened to be one of the most overpowered broken shrift abilities that we have seen to date.

To say that there was a great deal of hype leading up to this episode would be an understatement. Well, if you are wondering why did I say that there were concerns about this episode?
Well, the first reason that I was fearful for episode 20 is that it adapts manga material that spans from chapter 571, and it takes up all the way up to the midpoint of chapter 579.
This means that the last episode has adopted an unprecedented more than eight chapters of manga material, and this is unlike any other episode of the Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War arc. This is also because the anime, on average, is adapting roughly five chapters with manga material.
In other words, the last episode has adapted the entirety of Bleach volume 64 titled, “Death In Vision,” after considering how some of the episodes have turned out that ended up adapting a large number of chapters, I started to think that the last released episode may not be the instant classic.
Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Episode 20: Recap and Review
The last released episode opens up where we left off in the previous one, where Guenael Lee has made his entrance and has started to attack Yachiru Kusajishi and Isane. This was kind of surprising, as I had envisioned that the anime would have skipped this entire Yachiru fight so that the episode would open with Gremmy appearing and taking out Guenael Lee.
Later in the episode, we see Kenpachi confronting Gremmy. With Kenpachi finally making his arrival, things being to pick up, but his entrance, however, comes with his own challenges as we see him deliver the heartbreaking news of Unohana’s death to Isane.
I think that the anime has handled this very well, as it takes a break from the action in order to deliver to us some somber news. Isane’s voice actor is doing an excellent job with her emotional performance.
following this, Kenpachi’s battle against Gremmy begins, but not before we see some amazing visuals of the Zanpakuto, as we are shown the title card of the episode, “I Am The Edge”. We then immediately reach the midpoint of the episode, with the material being adapted all the way up until the end of chapter 573.
