Silent Bark Games is bringing its upcoming 3D platform fighting game Blast Blade to Tokyo Game Show 2026 with a new playable build and an assortment of exclusive giveaways. The Bangkok-based developer announced the showcase on September 14, alongside a new trailer offering another look at its unusual approach to multiplayer combat.

Described as the world’s first 3D platform fighter where victory is achieved by blasting opponents out of bounds, Blast Blade puts explosive attacks at the center of every match. Players can battle against up to three opponents across multi-tiered arenas where environmental features can quickly change the flow of combat.

The game will be playable at the Blast Blade booth, 02-S01, during Tokyo Game Show, which runs from September 17 to September 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

How Blast Blade’s Explosive Combat Works

Blast Blade takes place in Crystalia, a magical world caught between tranquility and constant conflict. Players can choose from a roster of characters with different strengths, weaknesses, and combat styles, creating opportunities for both fast-paced and strategic fights.

Among the revealed characters is Nino, a speedy woodland creature suited to agile play. Lumina, Crystalia’s royal princess, offers a more balanced combination of offense and defense, while Drayoll relies on extremely powerful attacks at the cost of slower movement.

Silent Bark Games is also turning its Tokyo Game Show appearance into an interactive promotion. Visitors can earn stamps by playing the game, taking photos at the booth, following Blast Blade’s social media account, and completing a gameplay survey.

Each completed activity provides an opportunity to receive prizes, including fans, stickers, T-shirts, and jewelry-quality amulets. Players who collect all four stamps will also receive special keychains and additional surprises.

Founded in Bangkok in 2015, Silent Bark Games grew from a university project into a game development studio focused on combining modern creativity with classic gaming influences. Blast Blade represents the studio’s attempt to rework traditional fighting game ideas around its distinctive blast-based knockout system.
