The album has been teased right after the anniversary celebrations ended. Official announcements for Lisa’s solo debut were made back in April 2021. The name of the album was finally revealed on August 25, 2021. The tracklist was finally dropped about a week back, and ‘Lalisa’ was released on September 10, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. KST.

Lisa’s debut solo album ‘Lalisa’ is actually a two-song project. The headlining single is called ‘Lalisa’. It comes with a music video too. The other single is ‘Money’. ‘Lalisa’, the album, also consists of the official instrumental tracks for both these songs. BLACKPINK Lisa is all set to debut the lead single ‘Lalisa’ on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday for the first time on television. Check out the official music video below. The video already has close to 50 million views in less than 12 hours of being uploaded.
The first single, Lalisa, is credited to 24, Bekuh Boom, and TEDDY as writers. It is a 3:50 minutes long track. You can hear Lisa’s impeccable rap throughout the song. If you didn’t know it already, Lalisa is actually Lisa’s official given name. The other song, Money is credited to R.Tee and Vince along with 24 and Bekuh Boom for lyrics. This track is about 2:40 minutes in duration. The entire album oozes self-confidence and power just like Lisa does in real life. Lalisa Manoban, or Lisa, is a 24-year old Thai singer who is the youngest member of one of the biggest girl groups in K-Pop – BLACKPINK. Lisa is an artist with YG Entertainment in Seoul, South Korea. She was born Pranpriya Manoban in Buriram, Thailand on March 27, 1997. She is great friends with two other Thai idols in K-Pop. This includes BamBam from GOT7 and TEN from NCT. If we were to tell you more about Lisa’s family, while her mother is of Thai descent, Lisa was also partially raised by her stepfather, who is of Swiss descent. Marco Brüschweiler is a renowned chef in Thailand.
Lisa’s humble beginnings in the world of entertainment happened with her affinity and talent for dancing. When she was barely four years old, Lisa started entering several dance competitions. Throughout her childhood, she participated in several dance competitions and was also a member of several crews. In fact, she met BamBam as a part of ‘Wee Zaa Cool’. Lisa has also won several dance competitions and other awards that verify her credibility as a great dancer.
As early as 2010, when Lisa was barely 13 years old, she auditioned for YG Entertainment through their global auditions in Thailand. Lisa had grown up watching famous YG idols – Big Bang and 2NE1 perform. Thereby, when she finally made it there, it was like a dream come true. Lisa worked very hard to debut as a member of BLACKPINK. She trained thoroughly for vocal lessons and rap lessons.
