Two children were left behind by their parents for dying alone at the same church, and that too on the same day, Asta and Yuno grew up together as children, and as they were growing up, they came across the position of “the Wizard King,” who is considered the strongest mage with extraordinary magical skills.
As they found out about this, they promised each other that they would compete against each other for the title and work hard every day to reach the pinnacle. However, as the legend has it, nothing goes as planned in this accursed world.
While they were entering their pre-teen, it became a fact to everyone that there was a very big difference between the two. Yuno is competent enough to use great magical powers and has very refined control over them.
Asta, on the other hand, has the short end of the stick and cannot use magic at all. He is forcing himself to try to awaken his magical powers by training all day and night. He used to drain himself every day just to meet the standards of his promise to his friend.
As they become young men of age 15, Yuno is gifted a four-leaf clover on Grimoire, but Asta gets absolutely nothing. When other people see Yuno’s Grimoire, they get jealous, and one of them even attacks him to get it from him.
Asta tries to save his brother like a friend but isn’t able to do anything worthy because he isn’t his match. Just when he is ready to accept the fact that he isn’t fit to be someone who can fight the attacker, he hears Yuno’s voice and gets up to fight again.
Listening to his voice, Asta gets a very different kind of rage formed from all the deep-rooted emotions and his love for his friend; he gets a five-leaf clover Grimoire, which is called the “Black Clover.”
This Grimoire got him so much power that he defeats the attacker and restores his faith in himself. Well, this is the anime version of “Where there is a will, there is a way.” They set out into the world again to become the Wizard King yet again.

Black Clover Chapter 350 Recap: “The Holy Woman’s Confession”
The chapter starts with the “sister” telling Asta her story as her last words. She first apologizes for what she has been doing and has done till now to so many people and for saying some really bad things to him as well.
She tells Asta how all she wanted to do was to free the world from the magic discrimination from the noble realm. To solve the problem, she joined the church, hoping that the situation there would be different, but sadly it wasn’t.
She expresses how sad she is from within because she couldn’t help people even after trying with all she has. The other guy says that the truth is quite different. He tells her that she has successfully saved Asta, and now he has gotten tougher than ever before.
He tells Ryu to lean on him, the guy she saved. With this being said, Ryu gets lost in the diurnal effect of the Earth. Asta is reminded that only three days are left before the big day, The day of final judgment.
In the battle in the clover kingdom, the guy also tells Asta that Lucius is getting ready and he should do the same. Lucius is now able to combine Zogratis’s Siblings’ bodies, blood, and bone magic with his own soul. This has helped him gain immense power.
