Bitch X Rich Episode 4 Recap (Spoilers!)

Bitch X Rich Episode 4 opens with a phone call between the School Director and one of his men, informing him of the death of a school student named Kim Hae In. On hearing this, the Director told him not to worry and that the case will simply be labeled as academic suicide. Hae In was a part of the equal education project, and the story would be that she had lost her life to academic stress, unable to compete.

However, he immediately receives more information telling him that there was a witness. Our female lead, Kim Hye In, was the eye witness to Hae In’s death, as she heard her falling from the rooftop and later saw her bleed to death. When notified, the Director told him not to worry and that he would take care of everything. Later, Hye In wakes up, only to realize it was a flashback of hers.

Na Yeon’s mom visits Hye In on her way home. After knowing of her admission to Cheongdam Highschool and Hye In having some connection with the School Director, she tells her to put in a good word for Na Yeon so she too can get admission in Cheongdam Highschool, offering her a hefty lunch box as a bribe.

On the other hand, in Cheongdam Highschool, while the teacher is taking her class, the students get bored, and she tries to make conversation regarding Hae In’s suicide. On hearing this, Baek Je Na stands up and questions if it really was a suicide. She said the prevention worked just fine, and students were learning from this incident.

At the same time, Hye In enters her classroom only to be bullied by her classmates. They confront her on her lies of coming from a rich family, calling her shameless for not owning up to her upbringing. When she walks out of the school, her classmates then realize that she is, in fact, transferring to Cheongdam High, and that’s why she packed up her bags.

Hye In later went shopping and bought herself a pair of shoes. During her shopping spree, she was suddenly interrupted by a stranger who spilled coffee on her shoes. When Hye went to the washroom, she saw a note that read, “You must be happy wearing a uniform you got by murdering someone.” This freaked Hye In out, and she ran to search for the lady again, but in vain.

The episode ends with Hye In’s encounter with Je Na, who she mistakes for wearing the newly bought shoe she had lost, resulting in a catfight. Meanwhile, Hae In’s mom leaves us on a cliffhanger on who the other person from Cheongdam High is.
