‘Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story’ is a golf-themed Japanese anime television series created by Bandai Namco Pictures and helmed by Takayuki Inagaki. The first season of the show ran from April to June of 2022, and the second season debuted in April of 2023.
“Venus Line” by Kohmi Hirose serves as the opening theme for both seasons. The final theme music for the first season is “Yodaka” by Tsukuyomi. Sarasa Kadowaki’s “Kimi ga Iru kara” (“Since You’re Here”) is the second season’s closing theme song.
The story takes set in the European country of Nafrece, and it concentrates on a young woman named Eve who utilizes her untrained but exceptional golf swing to impersonate a rival and steal money from competitors in unlawful golf competitions in order to support her adopted family and their bar.
One day after beating one opponent, Eve faces Japanese golfing prodigy Aoi Amawashi, but she loses to her in a one-hole match. After that defeat, Eve regains her obsession with the idea of taking Aoi on in a full 18-hole match and winning, while Aoi develops a liking for Eve’s perseverance and attitude.
The Nafrece mafia, however, forces Eve to overcome a number of obstacles while Aoi’s mother and personal assistant attempt to convince her to concentrate on her growing golf career.
The ‘Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story sports video game, created by Viverse and WOWWOW Technology, is scheduled for release in June 2023. The dates, nevertheless, have not yet received an official announcement.
