What is the premise of Biography: WWE Legends Season 3
Each two-hour “Life and times: WWE Legends” episode continues to tell the intimate, personal tales that caused the success of some of the company’s most enduring Legends and events. Each installment will examine a different WWE Legend along with its enormous impact on the WWE’s world and popular culture using rare archive footage and in-depth interviews.
This season, other Legends include Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Chyna, Kane, Dusty Rhodes, and Iron Sheik. The season opener will focus on the notorious gang NWO.
What happened in season 2 of the show?
In the last season, we saw the journey of the guy who created The Undertaker, the most iconic persona in WWE history. Mark Calaway, a Texas native who loved wrestling so much that he gave up a collegiate basketball career to focus on learning the business, went on to establish himself as the most infamous villain in WWE history.
The 6’10 Undertaker, who made his debut at the 1990 World Series, hovered over the WWE for three decades, delighting and terrorizing fans and rivals while racking up an incredible number of championships and records.
Moreover, we got to learn how a good-natured Jewish youngster from Oklahoma got to an unbeatable WWE Superstar with a record-breaking 173-0. This episode told the tale of Goldberg, a trainwreck who used force to overwhelm his rivals. After his contentious match against the legendary Bret Hart, Goldberg left the ring for 12 years due to turmoil.
Goldberg won his second Universal Title when he returned to the ring, though, in front of his adoring son before being enshrined into the WWE Hall of Fame in late 2018. Brie and Nikki’s transformation from servers to WWE Superstar players and cultural icons was detailed in another episode.
The Bellas’ athletic success helped them overcome a challenging childhood and their traumas. Their fierce competitiveness propelled them to a historic career in professional wrestling, where they won the Divas Title and delighted their fan base with popular reality series. The Twins are still strong as mothers, businesswomen, and WWE Hall of Famers.
We also witnessed the amazing tale of Kurt Angle, a four-time WWE Champion, and gold medallist in the 1996 Olympics. Angle defeated some of the greatest WWE Superstars of The Attitude Era thanks to his unmatched competitive spirit and physical strength, making him one of the most famous WWE Superstar players.
Yet after suffering from numerous broken necks and years of injury, Angle developed a dependence on painkillers that nearly led to his demise. Angle overcame his addiction with the support of his family, and in 2017 he was welcomed into the WWE Hall of Fame.
What to expect from Biography: WWE Legends Season 3?
Season 2 will introduce us to Hulk Hogan, who teams up with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash to create the New World Order, a trio of villains that go on to be the strong contingent in the history of sporting culture and have fans rooting for them.
Jake Roberts, a legendary wrestler, will be profiled in another episode of the series. Viewers look inside the renowned superstar both within and outside the ring through interviews, images, and archive films.
