Big Sky centers on the investigation of crimes in a small Montana county by Cassie Dewell, a private investigator played by Kylie Bunbury, and Jenny Hoyt, a police investigator portrayed by Katheryn Winnick. Katheryn Winnick is very well known for starring in the series Vikings. Kylie Bunbury might be recognizable to viewers from Under the Dome’s third season or from her major role in When They See Us.
Big Sky’s third season will have some cast changes. At the very end of Season 2, Jensen Ackles played the new sheriff in a guest appearance; now, he is a regular cast member. Ackles is most recognized for his roles as Dean Winchester from Supernatural and as Soldier Boy from Amazon’s The Boys.
