On May 15 KST, Big Planet Made Entertainment released an official statement addressing recent remarks made by San E regarding recording files. The agency had previously refrained from commenting, waiting for legal proceedings to unfold.
However, due to San E’s personal attacks and unfounded allegations, they felt it necessary to clarify the situation with a minimal response based on facts.
The statement reveals that on May 14, KST, San E requested consent for the release of unedited phone call recordings involving himself, BE’O, and MC Mong.
The agency questioned the relevance of these recordings to the issue of uncollected revenue from music produced by junior artists, expressing confusion over San E’s demands.
Furthermore, Big Planet Made Entertainment disclosed that a management executive from FameUs Entertainment referred to as Mr. A, had secretly recorded and altered discussions from meetings related to San E’s lawsuit over uncollected revenue.
Mr. A allegedly distributed this manipulated content to the media as a “threatening tool,” which resulted in legal action and a court injunction against him for coercion.
The agency criticized San E for his contradictory behavior, pointing out that he had previously distanced himself from Mr. A’s coercion tactics but was now insisting on releasing unedited recordings.
They argued that this inconsistency was harmful to junior artists, who should be focusing on their music rather than being entangled in such disputes.
Big Planet Made Entertainment emphasized its commitment to pursuing all necessary legal measures against San E. They reiterated their zero-tolerance policy towards baseless claims and coercion aimed at their artists, affirming their dedication to protecting and supporting their talent.
