Big Planet Made (BPM) Entertainment has officially addressed and denied rumors regarding several members of fromis_9 joining their agency.
On January 17, 2025, Korean news outlet Maeil Business reported that five of the eight members of fromis_9 were preparing to sign with Big Planet Made, while the remaining members were allegedly in talks with other agencies.
However, BPM responded swiftly, stating that the claims about five fromis_9 members joining their agency were unfounded and not true.
Fromis_9, a popular girl group that debuted under CJ ENM’s subsidiary Off The Record Entertainment in 2018, moved to PLEDIS Entertainment in 2021.
However, in November 2024, PLEDIS Entertainment announced that all members of fromis_9 would part ways with the agency after December 31, 2024, fueling speculation about their future career paths.
Despite the rumors, the group’s fans are eagerly awaiting official news regarding the next steps for fromis_9 members, who have gained widespread popularity for their music and performances over the years.
For now, Big Planet Made has cleared up the confusion, but fans remain hopeful for future updates regarding the members’ next moves.
In the meantime, fans can watch fromis_9’s latest performances, including their appearance at the 2023 Weverse Con Festival, available on Viki.
