Just in, BTS’s V, aka Kim Taehyung, has tested positive for COVID-19! BTS members RM, Suga, Jin, and Jimin, were the ones that had been diagnosed with COVID-19 but have recovered by now. On the evening of February 15, BigHit music announced that BTS’s lead dancer and vocalist Kim Taehyung as tested positive for COVID-19. The entertainment agency said that V had visited the hospital on Tuesday, i.e., today, after experiencing mild fever and a sore throat. Upon taking a PCR test, it was confirmed that he had been diagnosed with the virus. The company went on further on and said that the K-pop star had been taken both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and is not showing any alarming symptoms.
The BTS member will be undergoing treatment in his home and will also be waiting for additional guidelines from the health authorities. BTS’s agency revealed that the members of the boy band had met on February 12, the Saturday but all of them were wearing masks, and there was no close contact among the members. In addition to that, as a precaution, the other BTS members tested negative after taking a self-test. BigHit Music ended the notes by saying that their artists’ health is their top priority, and they will be doing everything within their power for V’s treatment. They even said that they would fully cooperate with the health authorities regarding what they have to say to help V recover from COVID-19.
K-pop Idols Other Than V Who Have Tested Positive For COVID-19
Recently, more and more news about K-pop idols being diagnosed with COVID-19 has been surfacing. It is quite a hard time for many people right now, especially for K-pop idols and fans. Many idols such as members of Treasure, Blackpink, IKON, ITZY, and more had also been tested for COVID-19. Thankfully many of them have recovered quickly and efficiently, so we hope the same for BTS’s V. There is no doubt that ARMYs would wish for the same too.
