Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter is a songwriter, singer, and businesswoman primarily based in America. She was born in Houston, Texas, America, on September 4, 1981. Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter was born to Mathew Knowles, who was an African American and was a Xerox sales manager, and Celestina Knowles, who was a Louisianan Creole and ran a salon and was a hairdresser.
Beyoncé studied at St. Mary’s Montessori School, which was situated in Houston. In the year 1990, she shifted and attended Parker Elementary School, which was a magnet school and specialized in music.
Later, she also enrolled in Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, which is situated on Austin Street, Houston, Texas. And later, she attended Alief Elsik High School, also situated in Houston, Texas.
During elementary school, Beyoncé met LaTavia Roberson and became a part of a girl’s group named ‘Girl’s Tyme.’ Later the group was discovered by Arne Frager, who was the producer of R&B and bought them to Northern California and made them participate in ‘Star Search,’ which was the biggest reality show of that time.
Soon the girl’s group signed with Elektra Records and started working on their first album. In the year 1996, the group changed its name to ‘Destiny’s Child.’ And in the year 1997, the first ever song released by Destiny’s Child was ‘Killing Time,’ which was composed for the movie ‘Men in Black’ which was released in the year 1997. The group’s first single hit was released in the November of the same year, 1997, was ‘No, No, No.’

The song Say My Name won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by Duo or Group.
But after 1999, Beyoncé suffered depression for the next several years when Roberson and LeToya Luckett were replaced with Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin. Later Farrah Franklin also took off, and the band was left with just three members, including Beyoncé.
In the year 200, the group Destiny’s Child composed and recorded the song ‘Independent Women Part I,’ which was a part of the movie ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ which was released in the year 2000. The song became the No. 1 song on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and remained in that position for eleven weeks.
By the year 2001, Beyoncé made her first television debut which was on MTV and was cast with a major role in the movie ‘Carmen: A Hip Hopera’ which was a television-based movie.
In the year 2002, Beyoncé performed the character of Foxxy Cleopatra in the movie ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’ and made her debut in theatrical movies.
By the end of the year 2002, Beyoncé recorded her first solo song, which was ’03 Bonnie & Clyde’ featuring Jay-Z. In the year 2003, Beyoncé released her first solo album which was ‘Dangerously in Love,’ and the album has sold over 11 million copies since its release till now.
Beyoncé released her second solo album on September 4, 2006, ‘B’Day’, and the album topped the chart of Billboard 200. Her next album was released on November 18, 2008, which was ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’ and was a hit being at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The song in the album ‘Single Ladies’ was a hit and had a sensational video and made won awards for the video.
Beyonce’s performance at Presidential Barack Obama’s 2009 Presidential Inauguration gathered huge attention, and it suggested that Beyonce supports Obama for the Presidential run.
On the date of June 26, 2011, Beyoncé performed on the Pyramid stage at the event of Glastonbury Festival and became the first female artist to do so.
Beyoncé performed her world tour of the Mrs. Carter Show in the year 2013, and the tour is considered one of the highest-grossing tours of the decade.
