Since the release of Berserk: Memorial Edition, fans of the anime have been eagerly awaiting news of the Band of the Hawk’s return in a new project.
While some patiently await the Black Swordsman’s resurgence, others are taking matters into their own hands. Studio Eclypse is among those, as they’ve released a new trailer for an anime project aiming to recreate anime arcs and animate manga scenes for the first time.
Eclypse isn’t the only fan studio working on Berserk; ARCHE Studio recently shared an episode attempting to create a second season of the 1997 anime adaptation. While Eclypse’s project covers some familiar ground, they are also looking at material from Kentaro Miura’s original manga that has never been adapted.
In the new trailer, fans can check out the animation from Eclypse, along with confirmation that the project will debut in 2025.
The most recent official anime adaptation, Berserk: Memorial Edition, recycled footage from the trilogy of films that brought Guts and his comrades to the big screen. Despite this, the series did include some previously unseen deleted scenes, offering Berserk fans new content to enjoy.
The new fan projects represent a dedication to Berserk’s rich lore and intense storytelling. Fans are hopeful that these efforts will do justice to the manga’s dark and complex narrative, bringing new life to the beloved characters and arcs of the Berserk universe.
