Bravo’s Below Deck Down Under Season 2 takes us once again, with the same saucy savant to the inner workings of a luxury vessel and its crew. This time, it is the “Northern Sun”, a 50m yacht captained by Jason Chambers and his crew that takes passengers across the seas and caters to their needs as we watch the passengers party, the crew work and interact in that successful format of Below Deck.
With the sophomore season on its bottom half, things are getting interesting with the below deck —below, pun intended— interactions between the crew as they try to navigate personal relationships, work ethic and keep the boat afloat with the rowdy, party-hardy passengers that set their feet on board.
Below Deck Down Under Season 2 Episode 6 & 7 Recap
Things have been getting hot and steamy below the deck of the Northern sun. We’ve seen a five-sided romance, we’ve seen egos clash, we’ve seen a deckhand leave the boat, and a dinner service that shouldn’t have happened. Furthermore, that dinner service went south —in my opinion— if the crew was focused on what the guests wanted instead of trying to hook up below deck. It’s about the guests, not their carnal desires, when they’re not on duty.
Still, Chef Tzarina is taking all the heat from that dinner service, she tries to make a meal that will satisfy the guests, but the bar seems to be too high. Meanwhile, Aesha tried to switch her shift to have some more Facetime with the significant other.
And as to how the crew manages to bring good service, they all saved the day because Captain Jason made them organize a good celebration and party for the guests to save face from that dinner service gone wrong.
