Doc tries to reason his actions by saying that all the other agencies who send kids to college ball take bribes, so why is it wrong when he does that? Will argues, saying he knows about the other agencies but thought Doc was better than that. Later in the episode, Phil and Geoffrey go over to talk to Doc about everything.

Although, Doc’s ex-business partner Lorenzo is threatening to expose the entire situation to the authorities, which will mean that none of the players who were once involved in the team will be able to go to college on basketball scholarships at all in D1 schools. Doc now wants Phil to take care of Lorenzo like he took care of Will and got the gun charges dropped (Will told Doc all about it).

Elsewhere, we see that Connor has now gone missing, which is making Carlton frenzy. Turns out that he and his mom are sitting with Viv at their home. Soon, Connor confirms lying and agrees to Carlton’s story deeming him innocent. Will tries to confront Carlton to save himself, but he is not listening and goes on to buy more drugs for himself and hang out with Connor again.

As for Hillary, she is fully broken up with Jazz this time. He is obviously waiting for her to come home to him at his launch event, but that does not happen. And when she does come, Jazz is dancing with other girls, and she feels like he has already moved on. By the end, we see her kissing LaMarcus and being with him. I mean, I kind of am happy about this match, though. Jazz is just very insecure, and that’s wrong on many levels.

Erika visited Vivian at her home and tried to mend things between them. This gave Phil a clear mind to decide where he wanted to work at. But as soon as Phil makes a decision to negotiate and switch companies, Erika is again at her flirt game when she hugs Phil and touches him inappropriately (in my view, that hand at the back of his head was a lot, not gonna lie).
