The latest episode 9 of Bed Friend is out now on 15th April 2023. The series’ story took a turn for the worse for our protagonists as they dealt with their parents adamantly opposing their relationship.
An uprising new Thai Boy Love drama- Bed Friend, follows the story of two opposite characters who despise each other at the beginning before connecting and building feelings for each other. A particular Casanova with a crush on an upright, stoic personality individual who hates playboys- the drama is sure to escalate with a rough ride like no other.
This popular drama’s success prompted its production company, Mandee, to schedule the release of two additional episodes of the series, much to the fans’ happiness. A Cheewin Thanamin Wongskulphat‘s directorial, this drama will now air 10 episodes instead of the previously announced 8, each episode being about 38-42 mins long. It is an 18+ restricted drama featuring violent scenes and profane swearing, so viewers must practice caution and be responsible.
This GMM series is a spin-off drama of ‘Middleman’s Love’ and marks the debut of the Main Cast- Net and James‘ in lead roles. Bed Friend- Story Till Now
Uae (James) is a hardworking, straightforward person who passionately hates playboys and their flirtatious personalities. King (Net) is a straight-up Casanova with rich experience, going through relationships faster than one could blink.
These opposite individuals, when they meet, are not at all pleased and even dislike each other very openly. Sharing a mutual friend, Jade, and occupying the same office space leads to the main leads spending more time than they desire in each other’s vicinity.
Their relationship takes a drastic turn when a drunken mishap occurs, and the two- Uae and King end up sleeping together accidentally. But, this is just the starting as this one-night stand prompts a decision they might have never taken otherwise, to begin a relationship of friends-with-benefits.
Agreeing to a set of conditions, they start to spend more time with each other and sleep together more often, immensely enjoying each other’s company but pretending to be casual as if they are not forming feelings. Not realizing it, the two of them nurse their growing feelings for each other that grow deeper by the day.
At the same time, both protagonists are dealing with antagonists and meddling parents who don’t leave them alone. Krit is obsessed with Uae despite the latter’s clear signals of being uninterested. King and Jade protect Uae and try to make Krit back off. The two ‘friends’ enjoys sensual nights and steamy romance, coming closer than ever.
ing tries to make Uae quit his job to bring him away from the creepy Krit, who does not seem to be taking the obvious hints and keeps holding Uae back with the excuse of working to spend more time with him.
Uae and King’s budding relationship gets affected by King’s mother’s meddling as she sends King on blind dates with a girl she knows. Uae needs to take some time off to gather his jumbled thoughts. Krit’s continuing advances towards Uae also create misunderstandings between the couple, who continue to argue and bicker.
Uae’s boss Krit forces himself on Uae, making him relive the trauma left by his step-father. The difficulty, Uae escapes, but he has to confront Krit, who arrives at his doorstep the next morning, impressing Uae’s materialistic mother with his riches and power. After learning the true nature of his greedy mother, who only ever valued his financial benefits and never cared for him, poor Uae is shattered.
In episode 9, Uae and King meet with more unexpected challenges from their parents, who strongly oppose them from being together.
