Debut
BADKIZ made its debut on March 24, 2014, under the company Zoo Entertainment with a 5-member lineup. The members in the initial lineup were BomBom, Monika, Yeunji, EunJoo, and Jina, with their debut song “Ear Attack.”
However, that was not it. The group went through over 19 member lineup changes after their debut, and in 2022, their final and current lineup so far consists of members Somin (Eunyu), Seoeun, Rosy (Rozi), and Yousi (U-Si).
A few months after its debut, the company announced the departure of members EunJoo and Yeunji. EunJoo joined a different media company to debut under the K-pop girl group Luluz and, in the future, Wanna.B.
The next comeback in late 2014, two new members, Yoomin and Hana, were introduced as members of BADKIZ. However, Yoomin soon announced that she would be parting ways with the company and group in March 2015.
For the following month, BADKIZ performed as a four-member group. Soon enough, in April 2015, members BomBom, Jina, and Hana left the group. Jina further debuted under a different girl group to continue her music career.
In August 2015, Zoo Entertainment came back with a fresh line-up of members LuA, Haneul, and K.Me. Shortly after their August release, Haneul left the group and was now being replaced by two new members, Somin and U-si, and was now a five-member K-pop girl group.
Late 2016 came with the departure of member LuA due to a car accident and Duna as her new replacement. It was July 2017 when the company confirmed that Duna had exited the group, and later in the year, a new member Lohee was introduced.
In early 2018 Sol.B, a member of BADKIZ, and Monika, the only person from the original lineup of BADKIZ, made her exit to focus on her solo career. Come April 2018. soon after a comeback, Sol.B decided to leave the group, and Hanbit joined as a new member.
As K.Me’s contract expired, she moved out of the group, and Hanyoung, a new member, was introduced almost immediately. Next, Sohee announced her departure through a letter to her fans, and a new member Sihyeon was added to the group.
At this point, all of BADKIZ’s social media content was deleted to rebrand itself, and Somin changed her stage name to Kira.
Re-Debut
In 2019, BADKIZ was now preparing for its rebranding. A fresh image alongside a fresh name was being created. The new name of this group was then called “Hot Place.” Hayoung quit the group, and Taeri was introduced.
After Taeri and Sihyun quit, the band changed its name back to BADKIZ. Following April 2020, the band was set to come back with three new members: Rawhi, Rozi, and Semi. Rawhi did not join the line-up due to health issues. Rozi, Semi, Eunyu, and Seoeun started posting dance covers and were running a campaign for their comeback, which failed.
Disbandment and Reunion
