Momose discovered after spending the entire day with Shirosaki that the reason he was so goofy was that he was very focused on his work and also tried to be considerate of the people around him.
Viewers are excited to find out what kind of goofiness Shirosaki would show Momose in Atarashii Joushi wa Do Tennen Episode 3. Shirosaki shared his fear of cicadas with Momose. Shirosaki told him that when he was a kid, he found a dead cicada on the street.
He assumed that it was dead and went near it to pray for its soul, but the cicada stunned him. That’s how he eventually ended up developing a dislike for cicadas.
Momose felt bad after hearing that, but he did think it was an adorable story. Aoyama interrupted them and reminded Shirosaki that he was also scared of monsters.
Shirosaki told Momose that he had been abducted by a namahage as a kid. So ever since then, he has developed a dislike for monsters as well.
Later, their PR team asked Shirosaki for a picture of their competent employee to feature in the company newsletter.
He recommended Momose but felt bad for not asking him first. Shirosaki took a good picture of Momose for the feature, but when Shirosaki was sending the picture to the PR team.
He clicked on the wrong button and ended up putting Momose’s picture as his laptop wallpaper. Their other employee came right at that moment, got a glimpse of the wallpaper, and teased him about it.
Meanwhile, Momose was wondering how Shirosaki was so good at his job and goofy at the same time.
Atarashii Joushi wa Do Tennen Episode 2 Recap
Shirosaki and his team got a new project, which was an advertisement for the amusement park. Shirosaki asked Momose to go through the material because they had to go and scout the location tomorrow.
He also mentioned to Momose that they were going to inspect the fire alarms and warned him not to be bothered by it.
Momose did not have good memories associated with fire alarms, so the inspection reminded him about the fire incident that happened at his previous workplace.
Fortunately, it was a small fire, but someone knocked him on the stairs, so Momose could not evacuate the building with others.
But he decided to not think about it and focus on his work. But once the fire alarm started ringing, Momose’s stomach started hurting.
He felt horrible for not being able to move away from his bad workplace memories. But Shirosaki noticed that Momose looked uncomfortable.
He asked him if he was scared to move and offered him a piggyback ride. Momose was stunned by Shirosaki’s inspection acting.
Meanwhile, Aoyama burst out laughing after witnessing their interaction. Momose decided that if a fire ever broke out in their office, he would put his life in danger to protect Shirosaki.
Because of Shirosaki’s goofiness, Momose was able overcome his old workplace fire incident trauma. The two of them later visited the Tokyoland amusement park for their latest project.
Since it was summer break, the place was pretty crowded. The employee of the amusement park welcomed the two of them, and Shirosaki informed her they would get the ground tour on their own.
Momose had not been to an amusement park since he was a child, so he was very excited about their tour.
Shirosaki told Momose they had to experience the rides to create an effective advertisement for the amusement park. The two of them went on the merry goround and many other attractions on their tour.
