Empress on the Mend
Reports from Fightful’s Corey Brennan confirm Asuka has a legitimate injury. Interestingly, she was still backstage at RAW this week.
Earlier this year, Asuka had an injury scare that turned out to be a false alarm. Unfortunately, this time, The Empress of Tomorrow is dealing with a real injury. Fans will have to wait and see when Asuka recovers and makes her return to the ring.
Injuries are a constant threat in professional wrestling. Wrestlers put their bodies on the line every time they step into the ring, and unfortunately, injuries can happen at any time. Asuka’s absence from the Queen of the Ring tournament is a reminder of the risks wrestlers face.
It also opens the door for other superstars to step up and showcase their skills. Dakota Kai’s performance in Asuka’s place is a prime example. While fans were undoubtedly disappointed to miss Asuka in the tournament, Kai’s participation added a new layer of excitement to the event.
