Skillfully directed Odegaard’s exquisitely floated free-kick into the net to score the first goal while evading Konate’s attention. demonstrated a strong defensive presence and led his team through a number of difficult situations.
Oleksandr Zinchenko (4/10):
Salah easily defeated him to set up Liverpool’s equalizer after he nearly put his team in danger with some careless marking early in the match. appeared to make a number of mistakes all night long.
Midfield
Declan Rice (7/10):
Played a proactive role in midfield and successfully carried out his defensive duties. He held his ground for a good portion of the game, even though his level of control waned in the second half.
Martin Odegaard (7/10):
Set up his team’s first goal with an outstanding free kick. He showed off a number of flips and tricks, but he also gave up the ball once or twice in midfield. possesses a special talent for drawing fouls, which allows him to release defensive pressure. The fact that there was no penalty called for a possible handball in the first half may have been a result of pure luck, though.

He showed flair and quickness when he carried the ball early on. Still, he blew a fantastic chance right before halftime. His influence decreased as the game went on because Konate repeatedly challenged him.

Leandro Trossard (7/10):
Compared to Martinelli, Trossard offered a unique attacking style that featured quick and unusual movements.
Eddie Nketiah (6/10):
Had few opportunities in the attacking phase, but made a great defensive tackle.
Mikel Arteta (7/10):
The manager lost a chance to replace the underwhelming Zinchenko, even though Trossard and Nketiah turned out to be respectable replacements.
