Let us look in detail at the Ark: Survival Evolved Update 2.73. Ark: Survival Evolved, also known as ARK, is a 2017 action-adventure survival video game by Studio Wildcard. In the game, players are left on an island filled with roaming dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, and they need to survive through natural hazards and potentially hostile human players. The game lets players play in third-person or first-person perspectives and explore its open world. To navigate through the map, players can either navigate on foot or by riding a prehistoric animal.
Since the game is in a hostile environment, players will be going against hostile humans and creatures and can defend against them using firearms and improvised weapons. Arc Survival offers both single-player and multiplayer modes and allows to form tribes if played in the multiplayer option. Depending upon the server, the number of tribemates can change. Players can tame dinosaurs and own building structures and can be shared between the members.
Development of the game began back in October 2014 and was released as an early access game for PC players in 2015. While developing the game, the team conducted research into the physical appearance of the animals. After the development of the game, it was released to the public in August 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux. And later on, platforms such as Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia in 2021.
