The Grande household is excited about Halloween! Over the weekend, Ariana Grande and her brother, Frankie Grande, got the Halloween spirit going a little early. A little over a week and a half after the 30-year-old pop star and Dalton Gomez officially ended their divorce. She, her 40-year-old brother, and a few friends celebrated a small and intimate Halloween party on Sunday.
The “7 Rings” singer shared photos from her evening on her Instagram stories. She tagged her stylist Mandoh, drag artists Shangela and Salina EsTittes, and her brother, a dancer.
All of them, with the exception of Shangela, a former RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars competitor, had photos shared.
Grande posted pictures of her with brother
The Grammy-winning musician first uploaded a cute selfie of her and her sibling. The pop star, wearing a pink tulle dress, black cat ears, and gem-studded winged eyeliner, was seen grinning as they hugged. In contrast, her brother, a Broadway star, looked stunning with silver eyeshadow.
Along with the video, Grande shared a funny Boomerang clip of her brother, herself, and the two hosts of The Salty Rim! podcast. Posing together in front of a mirror, they had all applied Halloween-themed makeup, such as whiskers and cobweb patterns, and were wearing festive headbands with ears shaped like pumpkins and animals.
The friends thoroughly enjoyed the eerie entertainment. The group laughed at an eerie glowing-eyed doll holding a knife in a video that the singer of “Positions” posted online. A member of the group was heard saying, “I’m telling you, if it starts moving in the middle of the night, we better investigate!” on the recording made by Grande.
The evening of the YouTuber’s “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” performance at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, Pennsylvania, served as the occasion for this pre-Halloween get-together.
A lot’s going on in Frankie Grande’s life
Frankie Grande began playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter in a special production of the musical with a horror theme this past Friday. The show will continue to run through October 28. His sister, the pop star, was spotted at the show on opening night, showing her support, and they were snapped together backstage.
When the actor revealed on Instagram in September that he would be playing the legendary part, he was excited about the production. Expressing his delight, he said, “I’ve performed Dr. Scott virtually with the legendary Tim Curry, sung Frank’s songs in my one-man show, and, of course, honored the legend on Halloween.”
But playing this part in a full-length production has always been my dream. That dream has now materialized! It’s my time now! I feel as though I’m entering my real calling and taking on a role that is meant for me.”
The Grande siblings celebrated their grandmother’s 98th birthday as a family earlier in the day, prior to their Halloween get-together. The former Big Brother contestant shared a family photo album from the event on Instagram.
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez’s Divorce
Early in October, the lead actress in the next “Wicked” movie finalized her divorce. The singer of “Thank U, Next” and the 28-year-old luxury real estate agent agreed to the terms of a prenuptial agreement shortly after she filed for divorce in September. As part of the settlement, she will give him $1,250,000.
PEOPLE was able to obtain documents that revealed the settlement’s specifics. Since Gomez will receive his tax-free payment in one lump sum rather than in smaller, more frequent installments, he will not be eligible for spousal support.
Under the terms of their agreement, Dalton will receive fifty percent of the net proceeds from the sale of their former Los Angeles home. The pop star will also have to pay his legal fees, which could total up to $25,000.
