The Challenge is a reality TV show by Mary-Ellis Bunim and Jonathan Murray. It includes some new participants in addition to those from its other parent shows, The Real World and Road Rules.
To move forward in the competition and save themselves from elimination, each player must outperform the other participants in a series of incredibly challenging tasks. The contestants that make it to the final round by finishing every task are declared the winners and given a sizable reward money.
Because the show has been running for a while, the candidates usually have ample time to develop relationships, whether it be platonic or romantic.
Melinda Stolp and Danny Jamieson met in Season 16 of the reality series The Real World: Austin, and they clicked right away because of the time they spent together on the show, they soon started dating.
Since Melinda made her return to The Challenge: All Stars, fans have been wondering what her current relationship status is with Danny. Has their relationship ended, or are they still together? In this article, we will take a look what happened between the two of them.
The Challenging Journey of their relationship
Melinda Stolp, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, made her TV debut on the reality show The Real World: Austin in 2005 and quickly won over fans with her eccentric nature. She has participated in a few seasons of The Challenge since her debut, making her one of the most well-known competitors in the history of the show.
During her season on Real World, she met Danny Jamieson and discovered love in addition to fame. Originating from Billerica, Massachusetts, he joined the show to expand his career prospects and show his competitiveness.
In 2008, after dating for almost three years, Danny and Melinda married each other. But after a few years of marriage, the couple moved on with their lives after announcing their plan to file for divorce on The Challenge: Cutthroat season launch in 2010.
The former pair resurfaced together in the Battle of the Seasons episode of The Challenge later in 2012. It was an odd position, more so the fact that they were on the same team and needed to collaborate, given that they were no longer married.
Melinda cleared that she has moved on from Danny and Melinda’s relationship thing on TV. However, if you put $250,000 in front, you can become friends with your ex.
Despite being able to collaborate well, the pair was not successful in winning the tournament. Fans of the pair are curious whether they were able to work out their disagreements and reconcile after their reunion, or whether they are still apart.
Are Danny & Melinda Still Together?
Sadly, Melinda and Danny are no longer together. They never made up after appearing on The Challenge in 2012. In actuality, Melinda seemed to suffer through some difficult times following the divorce, but she eventually got back on her feet.
In January 2016, she wed Matt Collins in a seaside wedding attended primarily by her family. Melinda Collins made the baby’s arrival with the public in 2019. In November of the same year, the couple welcomed Camden into the world as their first child.
Sadly, Melinda and Matt had a low moment in March 2021 when they lost their pregnancy at 20 weeks. Having participated in seasons two and three of The Challenge: All Stars, Melinda appears to be doing well in her life as of this writing.
Regarding Danny Jamieson, he has kept a low profile ever since he was removed from The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons. We don’t know a lot about his personal or social life because he has kept it hidden.
Melinda demonstrated her tenacity and resolve by hosting the Blond Moments Podcast and participating in The Challenge: All-Stars season 2.
She also collaborates with Give Kids the World Charity, which offers very sick children and their families week-long holidays at not cast. All we can do is hope they have a bright future ahead of them and wish them the best in their own lives.
