ARC Raiders has rolled out Store Update 1.34.0 on June 23, bringing a small but notable refresh to the in-game store while addressing ongoing technical concerns. The update introduces the Aeronaut Set and a new Short Upswept hairstyle, while also implementing a fix targeting certain duplication exploit issues that had been affecting the game’s economy and fairness.

According to the official update post, the patch is already live and available to players. While the content addition is limited to cosmetics, the inclusion of exploit fixes signals continued efforts by the developers to stabilize the experience following recent gameplay-heavy updates.

A lightweight update focused on cosmetics and stability

Unlike major patches, Store Update 1.34.0 is primarily focused on cosmetic additions. The Aeronaut Set expands customization options for players, offering a new visual identity tied to the game’s rugged, post-apocalyptic aesthetic. Meanwhile, the Short Upswept hairstyle adds another personalization layer for character design.

More importantly, the update addresses duplication exploits—an issue that can significantly disrupt in-game progression systems. While details on the fix remain limited, its inclusion aligns with the developers’ broader anti-cheat and economy-balancing efforts introduced in previous updates.

Looking back at Live Update 1.33.0 and its major changes

To fully understand the significance of the latest store update, it’s important to look back at Live Update 1.33.0, released on June 16. That update introduced substantial gameplay content, systems, and balance changes that continue to shape the current experience.

One of the biggest additions was the Forgotten Relics event, a progression-driven activity where players earn Merits through gameplay. These Merits can be used to unlock rewards, including weapons, items, and Raider Tokens. Players can also collect relics scattered across maps, adding a layer of exploration and risk-reward gameplay tied to successful extraction.

Live Update 1.33.0 also introduced the Converging Paths project, a time-limited seasonal objective running through July 27. The project tasks players with securing safe passage for nomads, gathering supplies, and recovering relics across the Rust Belt.

Progression through the project unlocks cosmetic rewards such as the Saltwalker Outfit and its variants, along with a Sextant backpack charm and Raider Tokens. In total, players can earn up to 300 Raider Tokens through seasonal progression, making it a key incentive for continued engagement.

Beyond content, the June 16 update implemented several gameplay changes aimed at improving balance. One of the more notable adjustments was the temporary removal of free loadouts in specific modes like Night Raid and Close Scrutiny. This change increases the risk factor in high-reward scenarios, encouraging more strategic play.

The update also included a wide range of bug fixes and improvements. These ranged from corrected aiming accuracy issues and animation fixes to improvements in audio cues and UI functionality. For example, players will no longer fall through certain map areas, and weapon animations now behave more consistently after movement actions like vaulting.

Ongoing focus on anti-cheat and long-term content

Another key highlight from Live Update 1.33.0 was the continued expansion of anti-cheat measures, including the rollout of Denuvo Anti-Cheat to more players. The developers also introduced new reporting feedback systems, allowing players to receive notifications when action is taken against cheaters.

Looking ahead, the development team confirmed that a major update is planned for October, which will introduce new maps, progression systems, and additional gameplay content. Current updates, including Store Update 1.34.0, are part of a broader effort to maintain stability while preparing for that larger release.
