Dragon Ball Super is full of ups and downs, and yet it never disappoints the fans. It has been surprising us every time we have a theory in mind. This time, it is about the Future Trunks that are supposed to return for Dragon Ball Super Arc. Not a lot of people know that this is happening, but we got to know and we are right back with the details we have. As of now, there is not much details about it, and the only thing known is an announcement from Akira Toriyama, as he teased what we will see from Trunks.
“Next time in Dragon Ball Super adult Trunks will make his first appearance in a long time. I put together this story based on a suggestion from the editorial office. Like last time I write the outline of the entire plot, then the script writers do their best to break it up into episodes, expanding on things, changing things around, or adding in new beats as need be.
Adult Trunks is one of the most loved characters, and seeing the character returning from future can just lift everyone’s hearts up! And this happened from the very first time the character showed up, which was on Dragon Ball Z, as fans always loved the character.
The plot sets at an alternate timeline where Androids 17 and 18 took over the world. Now, the only hope can be expected from Gohan and Trunks. Gohan has made Trunks a trained swordsman, as well as has trained in his Saiyan powers! We have seen him slicing through Frieza in the past, as that purple haired Super Saiyan is still one of the best memories of fans!
Although Trunks is now a changed character, having blue hair of Super Saiyan Blue, with his sword and a different jacket! So, it would be interesting to see what this character has to offer again to the new arc, and how beautiful can that be!
