Oricon Style tracked the sales of all anime franchise in 2015 [Dec 8, 2014, to Dec 13, 2015]. Total earnings include everything that an anime franchise sold. This includes Blu-ray and DVDs, music, manga, video games, and, light novels. These top-selling results were pretty shocking. Although, Number 2 was no surprise.

15. Prison School – 2.74 billion yen ($23.37 million)

14. Gintama – 3.05 billion yen ($26.02 million)

13. Naruto – 3.95 billion yen ($33.69 million)

12. Fate/stay Night – 4.01 billion yen ($34.20 million)

11. Yo-kai Watch – 4.34 billion yen ($37.02 million)

10. Tokyo Ghoul – 4.50 billion yen ($38.38 million)

9. The iDOLM@STER – 4.71 billion yen ($40.17 million)

8. Assassination Classroom – 4.72 billion yen ($40.26 million)

7. Mobile Suit Gundam – 4.77 billion yen ($40.69 million)

6. Haikyuu!! – 4.77 billion yen* ($40.69 million)
