My Hero Academia season 3 Episode 1 aired in Japanese today and was one hell of a ride, but on the other hand we would be having issues in English dub of as FUNimation Entertainment announced on Thursday that it will not premiere the English dub of the first episode of My Hero Academia Season 3 on the same day as Japan as previously planned.

The notice explained that the Japanese staff will not be able to send the episode early for dubbing due to production delays.Funimation will stream the English-subtitled version instead. The company projected that the English dub of the second episode will premiere as scheduled.

My Hero Academia Season 3 Episode 1 Delayed

The new season premiered on April 7 and will remain in the 5:30 p.m. timeslot on Saturdays that the second season held on YTV, NTV, and 27 other network affiliates. Funimation previously planned to stream the English dub of the first six episodes on the same day they premiere in Japan.

The season is listed as 25 episodes. My Hero Academia is an adventure manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014, and 18 volumes have been collected in tankobon format. The series has been licensed for English-language release by Viz Media and began serialization in their weekly digital manga anthology Weekly Shonen Jump on February 9, 2015.

My Hero Academia Season

The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers in a world where superheroes and superpowers are normal, but Izuku Midoriya still dreams of becoming a superhero himself, and is scouted by the world’s greatest superhero who shares his powers with Izuku after recognizing his value and enrolls him in a high school for heroes in training. The manga was adapted into an anime television series animated by Studio Bones. Its first season aired in Japan from April 3 to June 26, 2016, followed by a second season from April 1 to September 30, 2017.
