Re Zero Season 2 Episode 22

Subaru faces his foes on the last battle to defend the mansion in Re Zero Season 2 Episode 21. Re Zero Season 2 is running for its second cour that will be ending soon. So the battle to save the mansion will be the last one for this season. Re Zero season 2 made its debut last year, and it was announced that it would be a split cour season. So this time, Re Zero Season 2 Part 2 continued on with the anime’s second cour, which is currently at episode 9.

Re Zero Season 2 part 1 had only 13 episodes, so Re Zero season 2 part 2 carried on. This will make Re Zero season 2 have 25 episodes when it ends later in the months. It looks like Subaru has all of his cards in play this time. Things went well for him last time when he tried to liberate the sanctuary. And now, if he saves the mansion, then things would have gone in his way.

Roswaal, on the other hand, wants to see Subaru to it and still thinks that he has very slim chances of saving both the mansion and the sanctuary. But he has already done half the job, and now he has to save the mansion, then he will be done. Meanwhile, Emilia is still going through her trials in the sanctuary. But unlike last time, she seems to be doing great with only a few trials left.

The battles inside the mansion are too intense, and all that Subaru can do is to run away at the moment. He still has to convince Beatrice to fight back as she has lost all hope. Re Zero Season 2 Episode 23 will broadcast next week on Crunchyroll with English subtitles.

Subaru and his allies have to go through some tough opponents if they want to save the mansion. With Roswaal being the last one they might face, but in the meantime, Subaru intends to recruit Beatrice to his side instead of her just waiting for Roswaal to have his way and destroy the mansion. Beatrice would be a valuable ally in this battle, so it all lies on whether Subaru will be successful in recruiting her or not.

He also managed to get the trust of Garfiel, but that came after he managed to save the sanctuary and made Garfiel realize that he has to go out there and look for his mother and sister. Now they have also found Garfiel’s sister, who also joined their side. But with the fight at the mansion at its early stages, it is difficult to tell which direction things will turn into.

We already know that this season will end in the next three episodes, so if anything, Subaru and his group has to win back the mansion before then. So it’s likely that things will wrap up by then as now the likes of Beatrice are just denying the reality as it is similar to Roswaal. Subaru’s power mainly enables him to have a mother go at events he failed previously like he revived in the past and then corrects whatever he wants to.

But since Re Zero Season 2 has been trying so hard, things will only make a bad story if he fails again this time. With his powers and considering that he already experienced this before, he should have better chances of success. But that has not been the case, and he keeps on failing over and over again. So hopefully, this will be the last time.

Subaru and The Future of The Mansion

The next episode will see the next phase of the ongoing battle when it releases next week. So we will see how Subaru and his team will manage to turn their situation around. Roswaal has not made a move yet, so it will also be interesting to see what he will do next. The anime will reach the end later this month, so there isn’t much in store for this season. But after Subaru saved the mansion, then the season will probably wrap us, and then we will see the aftermath of this season-long battle.
