Hitsujibungaku, the Japanese rock band behind the beloved ending theme of Jujutsu Kaisen, is set to make waves in Singapore as part of their highly anticipated Asia Tour 2024.
This marks the band’s first-ever series of live shows outside of Japan, promising fans a night to remember filled with their signature blend of music that has resonated with audiences worldwide.
Comprised of vocalist and guitarist Moeka Shiotsuka, bassist Yurika Kasai, and drummer Hiroa Fukuda, Hitsujibungaku has been captivating listeners since their formation in 2017. With expressive vocals and a driving rock sound, the Tokyo-based trio quickly gained mainstream attention in Japan with hits like “1999 / Ningen Datta” and “Sabaku no Kimi e / Girls.”
Their major label debut under Sony Music Labels in 2020 paved the way for further success, culminating in the release of their second full album, “our hope,” featuring the theme song for the anime The Heike Story.
However, it was their inclusion in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime with the song “more than words” that propelled Hitsujibungaku to international fame, attracting a global fanbase.
As part of their Asia Tour 2024, Hitsujibungaku has already mesmerized audiences in cities like Seoul, Bangkok, Shanghai, and Taipei, and now they are set to grace the stage at the Esplanade Theatres in Singapore on 3 July.
Fans can expect an electrifying performance as Hitsujibungaku delivers their hits and enthralling stage presence, making it a concert not to be missed for lovers of Jujutsu Kaisen and alternative rock music alike.
