Amelia’s assistant provides financial support and reassures her. In light of the conservative nature of the Northerners, Amelia anticipates potential judgment from the guests.

“Amelia’s Contract Marriage” chapter 32 is an exciting one. Amelia just finished making fancy invitations that look just right. She has also done some amazing makeovers to her castle and garden. There is, however, one hiccup when it comes to inviting Baroness Waterhaus. Baron Waterhaus, who married the Baroness, passed away just a few months ago, and Amelia is unaware of that.
Even though the formal mourning period is over, Amelia is informed that Baroness Waterhaus might not be ready for a happy occasion like a tea party. Rather than offending, Amelia chooses to write the Baroness directly. A few days later, Amelia gets a note from Baroness Waterhaus letting her know that she is excited about the party and will be there. Amelia is relieved about this.
Amelia’s assistant offers to help with money as the tea party preparations go on, saying she can take as much as she needs. Amelia is aware of the traditional nature of the people in the North, where she currently resides. They are sometimes judgmental, like Amelia encountered in her previous life.
Amelia is busy making sure everything looks well on the day of the tea party, but she is resolved to face the problems that arise and not stay hidden indefinitely. People are arriving and discussing her. A few women, including Lady Viche and Lady Lilite, are chatting up Amelia about how nicely the Count takes care of her. They believe it’s wise to have Amelia’s favor.
The topic of Mrs. Marie, who was not invited, also comes up for debate. Rumor has it that Amelia was offended by Mrs. Marie. As the women converse, Amelia becomes aware that they are portraying her as cold-blooded. She knows she can’t hide forever, even though it is difficult for her. She is prepared to take on any challenge that comes her way. At last, Baroness Waterhaus makes a spectacular debut.
Amelia tells her how much she appreciates her attendance, and they start talking. This is where things become interesting: they talk about the party dessert. Amelia attempted to blend Northern and Capital influences in her dessert, but Baroness Waterhaus notes that the Northerners would not enjoy it. She says Amelia ought to have done more homework on their tastes. The chapter comes to a tense conclusion.
People are talking about Amelia’s choices during the party, so there’s doubt about how things will turn out. In Chapter 32, Amelia finds it difficult to blend in with the Northern aristocracy. Amelia is essentially preparing for a large tea party. Everything seems to be going well for her; she has refurbished her garden and castle and sent out lovely invitations.

The tea party preparations are going well, with Amelia’s assistant offering financial assistance. There’s gossip among the guests about Amelia, and they wonder why one lady, Mrs.Marie, wasn’t invited. She realizes they’re trying to hurt her but decides not to hide.
When the tea party begins, Baroness Waterhaus arrives. She is relieved and grateful. As they discuss the dessert, things get a little tricky. The dessert is a mix of styles, and Baroness Waterhaus suggests she should have researched what Northerners like more.
