Annie (Moon Seo-yoon), a member of the co-ed K-pop group ALLDAY PROJECT under The Black Label, has officially returned to full group activities after completing her studies and graduating from Columbia University in New York.
Marking her first major public appearance with the full group since completing her degree, Annie joined her fellow group members on the red carpet and stage at the Korea Music Awards 2026 (KMA 2026) at the Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on July 25, 2026.
Balancing Ivy League Academics with K-Pop Promotions
Annie- who majored in art history and visual arts at Columbia University- originally debuted with ALLDAY PROJECT in June 2025.
Following the release of the group’s debut project, she returned to New York in January 2026 to complete her final spring semester, as her approved leave of absence could no longer be extended.
- Spring Semester 2026: Annie managed a dual schedule, attending classes and completing required credits in New York while participating in select overseas activities, including international fan sign events.
- Graduation: She officially completed her degree requirements and walked the stage at Columbia University’s graduation ceremony in May 2026.
- Return to ALLDAY PROJECT: Having officially earned her degree, she has rejoined the group full-time as ALLDAY PROJECT resumes activities as a complete unit.

Beyond her music career and Ivy League education, Annie has drawn significant media attention as a high-profile figure from one of South Korea’s premier business families.
She is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Chairwoman Lee Myung-hee, the daughter of Shinsegae President Chung Yoo-kyung, and a great-granddaughter of Samsung founder Lee Byung-chul, making her one of the few chaebol heirs active in the K-pop industry.
