Alexander Ludwig and his wife Lauren Ludwig have joyful news to share as they anticipate the arrival of their newest family member. The couple, aged 31 and 32 respectively, took to Instagram to announce their impending addition.
Alongside a heartwarming snapshot revealing Lauren’s blossoming baby bump with Alexander holding their daughter Leni, born in April of the previous year, they wrote, New baby Ludwig coming June 2024 and we couldn’t be more excited.”
Their announcement received an outpouring of love and well wishes from fans and friends, with actor Chris Boudreaux congratulating the couple. Others expressed their excitement for another addition to the Ludwig family.
The journey to parenthood hasn’t been without its challenges for the couple, who exchanged vows in 2021. Lauren candidly shared their struggles with pregnancy loss, stating in February 2023.
The pair revealed that they suffered 3 losses before this one but each one of those losses taught them about ourselves and each other. The pair wrote, “To everyone out there who has suffered miscarriages before, there is light on the other side of your journey. You are not alone.”
Their firstborn, Leni James Ludwig, arrived ahead of schedule, surprising the couple with an early birth in April 2023. Nearly a year prior to welcoming Leni, Lauren had shared a heartfelt message about their journey through pregnancy loss, underscoring the emotional toll and the strength it took to persevere.
Despite the challenges, the couple has remained resilient and open about their journey, with Lauren emphasizing the importance of sharing their experiences, including the pain of miscarriage.
