Synopsis
Zein comes across as a man who abhors women because of incidents in the past that made him afraid to open up to others. In order to prevent losing himself to another lady in the future, he put up impenetrable walls around himself. He ensures that no one can get past these walls and into his personal area.
On the other hand, Sarah is a divorcée who has a son with leukemia and urgently needs money for his treatment. Sarah, an architect who worked for Mr. Ibrahim, Zein’s father, was starting to lose hope because no one would help her with the cost of her son’s medical care. When she had no other choice but to turn to Zein as her last resort, he offered to pay her bills and assist her financially. Being her boss’ son and her supervisor, Sarah had not expected anything too suspicious of him. However, Zein just asked for one thing in return for financial assistance: to spend the night with him.
Sarah understood right away the ridiculousness of the whole situation and that there was no conceivable justification for her to accept such a proposal. But in the end, knowing the tight spot she was in and how desperately she needed the money, she accedes to Zein’s demand in return for her son’s wellbeing. But as the story goes on, feelings start to grow between Zein and Sarah. Sarah is able to get through Zein’s defenses and tear down his walls. She gives them the safe pace he always wanted and slowly rebuilds his trust in women. On the other hand, Zein is also willing to stand up against the entire world for her.
Season 2 of Al Thaman will continue with Zein and Sarah’s love story and how the two of them overcome all the problems and hurdles life throws at them. Amid all the tension, the two of them will stay strong and push through.
