The drama is a recreation of a 2006 Turkish drama known as “Binbir Gece” or “1001 Nights”. Translating to “The Price” in English, Al Thaman is a story about a widowed Mother who’s forced to come to terms with her manager in exchange for her son’s long life.

Synopsis
Sarah, the protagonist of this story, is a single mother who does what she can to provide for herself and her son. Working day and night to fulfill her duties as the sole breadwinner, Sarah’s life is not easy; especially when her son is suffering from a long-term illness.
Sarah’s son suffers from Leukemia. While the doctors believe he’ll be able to get better with treatment, the hospital expenses are something that cannot be covered easily, especially for a widower like Sarah. Finding jobs to pay for her son’s hospital bills, Sarah lands a job under Mr. Ibrahim’s architecture company.
However, this job too is not suffice to cover the expenses. Sarah is forced to take a loan from the bank now. With her son’s condition getting worse, her desperation for money increases. When the bank too, rejects her offer, she has no other option but to ask help from her manager, Zein, Mr. Ibrahim’s son.
Zein, unaware of Sarah’s condition, prompts Sarah with a proposal. She is given the ultimatum to receive the money and spend the night with him. or to walk away with no ash in hand and risk her son’s life. Put in a tight spot, Sarah is conflicted about what to do to let her Son to suffer further or let go of her dignity and accept Zein’s absurd request?

Recap of Al Thaman Episode 24
In the previous episode of Al Thaman, which came out on 9th February 2023, a series of incidents have occurred since and has ended on a cliffhanger.
In Episode 24, Sarah witnesses a new side to Zein she had never seen before. He was now more patient than ever. His ill-tempered, egoistic shell was slowly breaking down and showing her a part of him that was unfamiliar to Sarah. As the couple comes together to find out and talk, a series of events take place.
Salem and Firas are both seen at the police station after their fight; Haifa, in the midst of avoiding Mo’tasem, is being threatened by him. She’s put in a tight spot when Mo’tasem has no intention of letting her go in peace.
