The story starts with Honeko Akabane who is a normal high school girl, she is a daughter of a lawyer and she wants to live a regular life, even if that means scolding her childhood friend Ibuki Arakuni, who is often violent and he always gets into fights with random people. However there is a secret that Ibuki is keeping, he knows the truth about her, Honeko was adopted by her current parents and her real father is a Yakuza Boss. As it turns out, the boss is retiring soon and many people in his gang are looking to take his place; since Honeki is the heir they want to kill her and take her place. So her father decided to protect Honeko from these criminals without letting her know about her truth. And he decided to keep Ibuki and the other classmates as her bodyguards.
Akabane Honeko No Bodyguard Chapter 5 Recap
In the previous chapter “50 Minutes Of Arskuni Ibuki” Chapter 5, the series starts with Ibuki fighting all the gang members of the Honeko sisters who challenged him that she will take the place of Honeko and marry Ibuki, while she is trying to reach for her target there’s a huge wall in front of her which is Ibuki, if he is there she can never reach for her target. The other classmate Sumi Hiko is helping Ibuki through the CCTV cameras, which also got destroyed but keeps calm and guides Ibuki, and promised him that he will lead him to victory.
But he only got 50 minutes till the next bell, as hiko guides him to kick the door 8 meters ahead Ibuki did what he was told to where was able to catch some breath because of the traps which trapped the gang members who were following him. But they were able to surround themselves around Ibuki the rest of the classmates were stressing around knowing that there is a high chance that Ibuki is not going to make out, but somehow he was able to fight all the members and locked the door hoping they won’t break it.
After he made it outside he was face to face with Masachuka Jingu (Honeko’s sister) where she cursed him for making her work hard she puts a gunpoint on his head and gave him a last chance to marry her, but Ibuki loyal to Honeko and told Jingu that Honeko is 10 million times more his type and refused the offer to marry Jingu. Which made her pissed and told the members to kill him, but Ibuki was lucky enough the rest of the classmates joined him in the fight and he was able to endure them for 50 minutes. And now the classmates of Class 3-4 have surrounded the gang members as well as Jingu.
