Shreyas owns quite a few homes all over Mumbai and has bought a huge 4,000-square-foot house in Oshiwara, a neighborhood in the northern region of Mumbai. He was earlier revealed to be living at the Godrej Waldorf located in Andheri West, with him purchasing flats on the 3rd, 13th, and 14th floors of the same building.
When asked about the price he had to pay for these luxurious flats, all Shreyas revealed was that he had gotten it for a low price and was glad to shift into a home already owned by someone else as he is superstitious. Born and brought up in Mumbai, Shreyas is a relative of Jayshree Talpade, a popular Indian actress from the 1960s. He was able to make it into the Shree Ram Welfare Society High School located in Andheri West and later studied at Mithibai College.
Shreyas has remained active politically and continues to work in new films as the years go on. Early in his career, he married Deepti Talpade, a psychiatrist whom he had known for quite a long time. Both of them continued to live at Andheri West even after gaining immense fame and money.
Talpade first came into the limelight following his role in various Marathi soap operas. He got his first main lead role in the Zee TV drama Woh, which used to air back in the late 90s. Older Marathi audiences would probably recognize him for his role as Tejas in Aabhal Maya, which used to be a popular series among the locals.
It was the 2005 film Iqbal that propelled Shreyas into the world of films and large-scale productions. He skillfully portrayed the tough role of a deaf and mute cricketer in Iqbal, which was appreciated by many viewers and critics.
