Age of Empires started way back in 1997 when its first game was launched; It saw a great reaction from the gamers as they got a unique game to play at that time. The game is developed by multiple developers and is published by Microsoft.
Age Of Empire games is set in different historical periods where players go against the enemies in old-school warfare. They have to lead their army to victory, which consists of soldiers, knights, and great tacticians. They have to build their civilization and make sure to defend their territory from enemies’ attacks too. All three games have got a definitive edition to their name along with the original ones. There is a total of 8 playable civilizations in the game for now. Some of them are the Delhi Sultanate, the Chinese, and the Mongols. There are different types of weapons, soldier’s representation, houses, the mode of transportation, and artillery in all 4 different civilizations.
There is a lot of focus on the Norman campaign. The Norman campaign is about the Duke William of Normandy. He is on a quest to take control of the British Empire from King Harold. The first battle is the battle of Hastings. There is an official take on the Norman campaign by the developers. It goes like this.

There is a new mechanic in the game, the stealth forest mechanic. This mechanic enables you to set up ambushes within forests and bushes, which helps you to surprise your enemies with a quick attack. You can recognize your army in the woods by a blue outline that highlights them.
Along with the trailer, Age of Empires has also launched a new virtual village on the website of Age of Empires where fans can visit and see the different elements of the game before its launch. They are also going to launch a closed beta for the Age of Empires insiders. Updates of Definitive Edition
Along with a new game, the developers are also bringing in new updates to Age of Empires: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. Age of Empires II: DE game is also set to get a co-op mode later this year.
