AEW Wrestling: Dynamite was stacked with hype on the night of 27/10/2021 as we awaited for Full Gear. Most of the matches from tonight were either follow-up to events from the previous shows, continuations of tournaments, rivalries, title matches, and lastly, some goof. CM Punk and Bobby fish opened the night with the first match, which came from what happened last Saturday night last. MJF tried to mock the Boston crowd, Sting and Darby Allin. Lastly, Cody Rhodes will be teaming up with someone unlikely in order to take down Black and now a new enemy in the form of Andrade El Idolo.
Coming to the tournaments of the evening, we had the continuation of AEW World Championship Eliminator with Jon Moxley going up against The Dark Order’s 10. The TBS Championship tournament continued with Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb’s personal match. Lastly, Sammy Guevara put his TNT Championship on the line with Ethan Page. To close the show, we had a Halloween special tag team match between The Super Elite and The Dark Order.
CM Punk vs. Bobby Fish: Much like every AEW Wrestling show now, CM Punk opened the night of 27/10/ 2021. Punk’s theme song Cult Of Personality roared as he was set to face Bobby Fish. The match took a cue from what happened last Saturday. CM Punk came to rescue Anthony Greene from the brutal attack of Fish after the match. The match gave us a classic technical wrestling feel. Of course, it also came with the usual mockery of each other. Especially Fish taking shots this time. In the end, Punk grabbed the win.
Winner: CM Punk
MJF vs. Bryce Donovan: MJF came out with Shawn Spears and Wardlow of the Pinnacle. Well, he showed a little sportsmanship in the beginning, only to squash Donovan and win the match in a matter of seconds.
Following the match, MJF took his scarf and mic to call out Darby Allin and The Sting. But before that, MJF took a fair share of the amount to diss the crowd of Boston. Then moved to mock Darby Allin with the fact that he was present for a few shows lately. Thus, signifying how scared Allin is of MJF.
MJF promised to become the next AEW Champion until Darby Allin’s music hit, but no one walked out, leaving MJF laughing as it was his plan to fool Boston. Only to later find himself as a joke when Sting actually showed up from behind, taking out Wardlow and Shawn Spears. MJF tried to run towards the crowd only to see Darby Allin coming at him.
Backstage Interview: Tony Schiavone interviewed AEW Women’s World Champion, Dr. Britt Baker. She will be defending her title against Tay Conti at AEW Full Gear. Before that, she was informed that she would be going up against Abadon this Friday on AEW Rampage. This is for walking out of a match at the Jericho’s Cruise.

TNT Championship Match: Sammy Guevera (C) vs. Ethan Page: Sammy began the fight even before the match even began. Thus breaking Ethan Page down. The stakes are high as Sammy may not only lose the title but also his place at The Inner Circle. As the match began, Sammy dominated the first half of the match with his impressive high-flying skills.
After the break, it was Ethan Page who picked up the match, putting his pressure on Sammy. But Guevara managed to pick up soon, some of his high-flying maneuvers worked, some didn’t. Anyway, it was a roll-up that helped Sammy grab the win.
Winner and Still The TNT Champion: Sammy Guevara
Following the match, Page continued to attack Guevara, joined by Scorpio Sky. Until Judas hit and Jericho led the Inner Circle to rescue Sammy. Jericho went on to roast Page and Sky before announcing the five-on-five match at Full Gear. So it’s Page, Sky, and America’s Top Team vs. the reunited Inner Circle in a Minneapolis Street Fight. Also note, former TNA and WWE Superstar Tony Nese was present in the crowd during the match and challenge all this time.
Backstage Interview: Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston joined Tony Schiavone as they were about to face each other on Rampage in the semi-finals of the eliminator tournament. Kingston went on to talk about his struggle before leaving. Meanwhile, Danielson went on to admit this is the kind of Eddie Kingston he wants to face this Friday. The World Tag Team Champions Lucha Brothers joined the interview to challenge the FTR at Full Gear.
TBS Championship Tournament: Serena Deeb vs. Hikaru Shida: This was the first round for the title, which is also a rematch from three weeks ago. The match was quite personal as Deeb had attacked Shida last time right after the match where Shida competed in her 50th match on the show, becoming the first woman to do so.
Hikaru Shida literally tortured Deeb for most of the match. Deeb, on the other side, for every chance she got, went on to attack the one leg of Shida she injured. A number of submissions were used until Deeb decided to use the trophy of Shida again, much like the last time. This time Shida retaliated by grabbing a win through a roll-up.
Winner: Hikaru Shida
Following the match, Deeb wasn’t really happy and took a chair to attack Hikaru Shida. She tried to inflict damage on Shida’s injured leg to make sure that she doesn’t get further in the tournament.
Backstage Interview: Lio Rush teased his debut match to be at the right time soon. Before that, he hyped the coming Dante Martin vs. Matt Sydal on AEW Rampage, but this time with Rush on Martin’s corner.
AEW Championship Eliminator Tournament: Jon Moxley vs. Dark Order’s 10: Moxley went on like a savage animal to destroy 10 in one piece. Even ripping his mask apart. This was all before hitting the Paradigm Shift, pinning, and walking out. This was more like a squash match with 10 hardly having an upper hand.
Winner: Jon Moxley
Backstage Interview: FTR went on to accept the challenge of the Lucha Brothers to bring their AEW World Tag Team Titles back.
Following that, Cody Rhodes came out to talk to the audience and addressed the mixed response he was getting. As he was trying to tell his story, Andrade El Idolo interrupted him. He came out to give him some lessons but ended up roasting Rhodes. Before both the wrestlers could take a shot at each other, lights went out, and Malakai Black came. Andrade and Black attached Rhodes until PAC came to make the rescue as he mocked Black with Black’s own pose.
The Super Elite vs. The Dark Order: In the spirit of Halloween, everyone was in costume with Super Elite as Ghostbusters. The match was goofier than being a serious battle. Both the teams took occasional shots and mocked at each other apart from wrestling. The Super Elite had more than two moments where they teamed up in order to put The Dark Order down.
Towards the end of the match, there was interference from the other Dark order members as well. Unfortunately, one of those was Super Elite’s own Cutler, who got superkicks. Apart from them, even Adam Page showed up in costume to attack Super Elite and cost them the match.
