The story of Academy’s Genius Swordmaster revolves around Ronan, a hero of mankind who defeated the 3 giants who invaded Earth. Ronan failed to protect the world in his previous life due to his lack of power.
When Ronan was in a near-death state, his commander gave him her last ability to regress because she believed that he would one day save the planet.
Ronan was then sent back 10 years in the past when he was just a child. In this timeline, his sister is also alive, along with all the heroes who fought alongside him in the war. Now Ronan will train once again with the knowledge he has and become truly capable of defending the planet!
Academy’s Genius Swordmaster Chapter 7: Recap
The Chapter opens up with Aselle and Ronan in the forest. They got attacked by goblins while they were trying to steal some gold, but Ronan managed to kill all of them.
Aselle couldn’t believe what he just witnessed, firstly Ronan beheaded three goblins in one strike, and then he disappeared for a moment and appeared again in an instant. Ronan turns towards Aselle and asks him to stop spacing out and get moving toward home.
Aselle snaps out and gets a move on. Ronan feels a bit tired, and his muscles start to ache. He wonders if this is because he’s still growing. After all, he wouldn’t have any problem slicing up goblins in his previous life.
He then decides to start physical training from now on to strengthen himself. Aselle asks Ronan about the loud shriek they heard a while back, but not even he could figure out what that was.
Ronan tells Aselle that he’ll make sure to make them pay for making their task difficult by screaming in the middle of the night. Suddenly an arrow comes straight for Aselle, but Ronan grabs it moments before it can strike.
Adelle gets terrified by this sudden attack, and Ronan looks around to find who did this. He notices two guys standing in the distance. The two strange guys come closer and say that they thought it was a monster when they heard the rustling sound.
They keep staring at the gold in Ronan’s bag but also continue to act as if they care about them being hurt. Ronan catches their act and asks them to stop pretending and introduce themselves.
One of those guys starts laughing and approaches Ronan to introduce himself; he suddenly pulls out a knife to attack Ronan while declaring that he’s from Kaliborro.
Ronan easily grabs the hand of that guy and knocks him down with one punch. The other guy rushes to attack Ronan from behind, but Aselle uses his invisible hand to stop him.
Ronan thanks Aselle and then cuts down the guy to pieces. Aselle feels a bit scared over such a ruthless killing, but Ronan says that he would never leave anyone alive if they tried to kill him.
Ronan explains the Kaliborro group to Aselle that they are a group involved in the worst crimes possible. Ronan says that if he didn’t stop these guys right now, then Aselle would’ve had his organs sold off to the market while he would have been buried somewhere unknown.
Adelle gets scared even more by Ronan’s blatant statements. Ronan then says that it would’ve been stupid to let anyone from Kaliborro live.
Suddenly a pouch starts moving near Ronan, which scares him. The pouch was being carried by the Kaliborro guys, so Aselle wondered if it was a poached animal. Ronan slowly approaches the pouch to examine it.
He then opens the pouch and sees two blue eyes glaring at him. Suddenly a blue-colored bird comes out flying from the pouch that Ronan refers to as “a chicken thing.”
