The chapter starts with a duel between Ronan and Marya. Ronan gets surprised by seeing Marya’s strength. Marya can exert a huge of power despite being so young. And she’s a dual-wielding too. Ronan couldn’t see it, but he was sure she was using mana to fight him.

Marya was also surprised by Ronan’s strength. She was planning on finishing him in one go by showing him the power of mana and making him give up on the test since she thought it would be better than facing humiliation in the testing area. But instead, she was the one getting pushed back.

Marya gets lost in thought, and Ronan uses that opportunity to defeat her. She tells Ronan that he is talented with the sword, even without using mana. In next day, when Ronan goes to visit Marya to take the money that she promised to give if she lost, he sees that she has prepared something else for him.

Marya gives him the Philleon theory exam workbook and summaries that she made. She thought Ronan would need it since only one month was remaining for the exam.

Marya took a liking to Ronan, and that’s why she was giving all that because she wanted all of them to pass.
