Jung Yoongyo did not want to feel anything for Choi Jumi in the previous chapter. Readers are excited to find out how Choi Jumi would handle reality after coming to her senses in Absolute Threshold Chapter 10.
Choi Jumi felt that someone had broken into her house, so she picked up her phone and ran out. She ended up knocking on the door of Jung Yoongyo’s car.
She explained that she had seen someone who liked that guy at the hotel and the bar, too. Choi Jumi stated that she heard a strange noise inside her residence and decided to flee.
Choi Jumi did not want Jung Yoongyo to leave so quickly, and she told Jung Yoongyo that she was afraid the stalker would return.
Jung Yoongyo told her that he couldn’t keep her safe all night, and Choi Jumi felt humiliated for thinking Jung Yoongyo was safer than the stalker.
Jung Yoongyo poured a glass of wine for Choi Jumi and offered it to her. She asked Jung Yoongyo for another glass of wine and asked him to keep it a secret from her father.
She was afraid of becoming worried, so she asked him to keep her company till she finished her drink. Choi Jumi revealed that she didn’t tell Jung Yoongyo because she was terrified but because he was already supporting her.
Jung Yoongyo complained to Choi Jumi about her bothering him since he loathed wasting his time. Choi Jumi reminded him that he still assisted her and that he was responsible for the decision not to alert the police.
Recap
Jung Yoongyo informed Choi Jumi that she was asking for too much and that he needed to get back to work. Choi Jumi told him she was terrified.
Because it had happened to her once before, Jung Yoongyo told Choi Jumi that even though he looked dangerous, Choi Jumi told Jung Yoongyo she knew he was a bad person.
But he was familiar to her, so she felt a little better around him. As he was someone her father knew quite well, Jung Yoongyo reminded Choi Jumi that carelessness was the most dangerous thing.
Jung Yoongyo decided to stay at her apartment and offered her a glass of wine. After several bottles of wine, Choi Jumi got drunk and began talking to herself.
Choi Jumi then noticed Jung Yoongyo was also with her in the room but did could not remember his name. Jung Yoongyo offered to help her, but she accused him of trying to harm her.
Jung Yoongyo threatened to toss her out of the room. If she did not calm down, Choi Jumi regretted going to that engagement ceremony.
Even though she claimed she had no regrets, her heart was broken. She was wondering if she had lived her life incorrectly because it was not that short.
She considered herself a fool because love was something that everyone did. Choi Jumi told Jung Yoongyo nothing was going her way, and Choi Jumi began to hit Jung Yoongyo.
He urged her not to do anything she would later come to regret. Choi Jumi told him she regretted not just that but her entire life.
Choi Jumi hugged Jung Yoongyo and promised not to do it again, but then she noticed Jung Yoongyo’s heart was beating as well.
Choi Jumi realized that the warmth on her cheeks was stronger than she had anticipated. Because she felt warm. Choi Jumi complemented Jung Yoongyo’s broad chest. He got flustered and warned her to keep her act together.
