There is no doubt that the latest issue of the series was the best one so far, as we finally saw So Woon going through the plans to take revenge on his family that had him cast aside once. As So Woon made his way through the entrance of the clan to the inside of the palace, it was a true pleasure to see him getting through all of this and planning his revenge.
However, by far, the biggest twist was when we saw So Woon asking his father to let him fight instead of the other two brothers, which was very shocking to the latter. This was indeed the plan that So Woon wanted to go through, and seeing him actually go through it brings pleasure to us.
The latest issue then saw things getting more interesting as his stepmother started to beg So Woon not to participate in the upcoming tournament, asking him not to replace her sons. But So Woon has made up his mind and rejected her offer graciously, saying how she had even attempted to kill him once.
The issue again ended with a twist as an assassin appeared saying that he was the one who tried to kill him. This development has the fans confused and excited to see where the new issue of the series will lead to; thus, they are looking out for any spoilers for it.

Recap
So Woon meets up with Seo Cheong, who had once trained under the Heaven Iron Sword, as he needed help from them two decades ago. The former uses his trickery to manipulate the latter into becoming friends which he is successful about.
Thus, Seo Cheong even allows So Woon to call him a Senior rather than a master as they are both from the same Sword practice. However, So Woon was waiting for his father as he wanted to ask him about participating in the martial arts tournament.
This is the sole reason that So Woon had also beaten his stepbrothers. The opportunity presents itself, and So Woon asks his father about joining the tournament instead of his brothers, but the latter does not reply and goes away.
As So Woon starts to enjoy his stay at the Yiyang clan while also remembering all the bad things about it, his stepmother calls him up. So Woon is aware of what she is doing but proceeds to speak with her anyway, and just as he had predicted, she asks him not to join the tournament and replace his brothers.
So Woon helpfully declines the offers and even teases his stepmother about how she had once tried to poison him, and with it, the Absolute Sword Sense Chapter 61 comes to an end with an assassin making an appearance saying that he was the one who had poisoned.
