Absolute Sword Sense follows the journey of our protagonist Soh as he works as a spy agent after being kidnaped by the Blood Cult. But it is when he finds a legendary artifact that he is killed off. But his story does not end there. He reincarnates to the time he was kidnapped, which is 10 years back. Now he makes use of his knowledge and his special ability to hear the voice of the swords.
In the previous chapter 40 of Absolute Sword Sense, Soh makes a very interesting proposition to Baek, and that catches everyone by surprise. Soh is usually the one who is always honest with what he wants to do, and he approaches them in the same manner.
Soh’s challenge to Baek for a duel is set by the condition that if she wins, she will have her wish fulfilled by Baek, and if he wins, he will have his wish fulfilled by her. A disciple asking a person of high status for a duel seemed out of the question but not for Baek.

In the previous chapter, that is Chapter 40 of Absolute Sword Sense, because of the serious atmosphere Soh is unable to interfere and help the higher-ups as they are mistaken by the situation. He was able to figure out that to display Cheon’s support for her was by revealing that Soh, as his disciple, learned her skill.
Baek Ryeonha takes advantage of her Uncle Seo, who is present there, and presents him with a precious tablet and asks her to use it to treat his disciple. Seo and the other master bow their heads and thank her for the present and ask her to accept them. Soh has other plans. He requests a duel and catches everyone by surprise.
Baek asks her if she does not see him as worthy of being her husband. She becomes shy, but he gets straight to the point and tells her to accept the duel with no hesitation because if she wins, she can get what she wants. She hesitates because she has witnessed the previous duel with Soh but accepts it nonetheless.
He puts only one condition before her if he wins. He asks her to exonerate him and his master with her name if he wins. She is shocked by his request, not knowing he asked for such a condition to clear any sins that they might commit in the cult. The chapter ends with Soh getting slapped by Baek.
