We will see another character make their way into the life of Cha Jin-hyuk just as he decides to open a guild. The action manhwa will be turning into a recruitment RPG story with the hopes of expanding the cast. Thought, many things are bound to happen when new characters are added to the story, and one is coming in Absolute Necromancer Chapter 38.
But before we talk about the addition of the new characters, let’s talk about the one on whom the world revolves it. Meet Cha Jin-Hyuk, a necromancer who was betrayed by the top players. He was commissioned to help them on the 900th floor but was betrayed by the people at the most vulnerable moment.
However, Cha had a secret technique that allowed him to transfer his soul to a body that was the next best fit for him. He ended up in the body of a guy who also lived in South Korea (just like him). And taking the benefit of the proximity, Cha plots his revenge and starts from the bottom of the tower.
Recap
Absolute Necromancer Chapter 37 starts with Cha and the dead spirit having a heated discussion. The series mascot was wakened up by this discussion and decided to see what all the fuzz was about, but went to sleep just as it had gotten up. As far as he was concerned, the two people were just being obnoxious.
The POV then shifts to Cha and the man he had been debating with, or the spirit that he had been debating with. Cha had been arguing to get that spirit to be part of his collection, but it was to no avail. The spirit only mocked him for his lack of power and ability to make it obey by force.
The mood changes suddenly when the dragon-human hybrid enters the room. Looking at him, the spirit recalled the conversation it was having with it in the earlier chapter. Due to fear of the dragon killing him in the future, the spirit decided to be placid and show that he meant peace in the future. The dragonkin, for his part, wasn’t too bothered by what had happened earlier.

Absolute Necromancer Chapter 38 will bring back some old faces in the fantasy series, and give a big boost of morale to Cha. One of the people who betrayed Cha in the very beginning of the series finally made an appearance in the present. However, she won’t be the only one who will be coming in the future pages of the fantasy series.
Moreover, there is the question of guild that was popped in the last chapter. And given how it was proposed, it is clear that Cha Jin-Hyuk will be the leader of this new guild. Even though his current companions are the ones who are more suited to be the leaders due to their power.
We should learn as to why Cha is chosen to start the guild and not his new teammates. That, and the dynamic between the two main characters, should also be established. But before that, how would a player who used to solo everything would agree to open a guild even if it would help him?
