Cha Jinhyuk shared Haryuu’s story with Genno in the previous chapter. Cha Jinhyuk would test the dragon slayer in Absolute Necromancer Chapter 34. He told Hendrick they were the same because, even though they were dead, they were still alive. He blamed the gang for his death.
Hendrick started laughing after hearing that but told Cha Jin Hyuk he was right and apologized to him. Hendrick believed that Cha Jinhyuk was the prophesied man that Yuriel talked about.
Cha Jinhyuk was surprised that Yuriel had approached him. Hendrick thought it was a great time to personally verify and test Cha Jinhyuk’s resolve.
To see for himself if Cha Jinhyuk was sincere or if it was just a bluff and scheme against God’s will. Genno shouted at Hendrick and told him he should not have come there to create a fuss.
Genno thought that Hendrick had finished what he came there for. He did not know why Hendrick was around there, meanwhile, Cha Jinhyuk asked Hendrick about the old man.
Hendrick informed him that Genno was a blacksmith who lived around there and mentioned that he was also the one who made his sword.
Genno told Hendrick he should have left when he got his sword, but he was not sure why Hendrick decided to return to the village.
Cha Jinhyuk thought that it was impossible, and Genno thought that Cha Jinhyuk was a strange combination of a spirit and a mystical creature. He could not believe that Genno was still alive, so Genno suggested he learn to respect his elders. Genno told him he was still alive, and he was not sure why Cha Jinhyuk was complaining about him.
Cha Jinhyuk explained to him that’s not what he meant and mentioned that he just wanted to know how he managed to survive that disaster.

Genno tried to hit Cha Jinhyuk because he assumed that he was the one who burned their village. Genno told Hendrick to follow him because he did not want to talk to Cha Jin-hyuk.
Hendrick told Genno to calm down, but he was the one who had the same backstory as him. Cha Jinhyuk asked Genno if he knew the one named Haryuu.
Genno was shocked at how much Cha Jinhyuk knew about Haryuu. He was shocked that Haryuu was alive, and Hendrick was surprised that a coincidence like that could occur.
It was the first day of the village’s traditional festival, so all of the Oni in the tower went to the hundredth floor. Because Haryuu was ill, he stayed there.
Genno asked Cha Jinhyuk about Haryuu and whether she was safe or not. Cha Jinhyuk informed him she was on the ninth floor and they were going to meet her soon. He asked Cha Jinhyuk if the mask belonged to Haryuu; he confirmed that was true, and she gave him the mask as a repayment for saving her life.
Hendrick asked him if Haryuu was strong. Cha Jinhyuk told him she was still growing, but she was probably stronger than them in one battle. Hendrick was wondering if she was just a temporary member of his party or a permanent member. Cha Jinhyuk told him they would move together as a team.
Because he accepted her mask and decided to take revenge for Haryuu, Genno thanked Cha Jinhyuk for doing everything for Haryuu.
