But it should be kept in mind that this series is an escapist historical fantasy romance where not very bad things happen.
If those really bad things, it would make for a different plot, and we wouldn’t have the whimsical twist. But we digress; the female lead in the latest chapter got the Mary treatment and now has Jesus in her womb. With something like that, she finally grew a spine and will be going against her evil mother.

Though, it doesn’t look like he was that capable since we haven’t seen him act on his skill.
It is not his fault that his skills are just something to be talked about and are word of mouth from others. The skill ceiling in these stories is pretty low and only there for the animus group to play as protectors high on teen hormones. That could be used to surmise most side male characters in all of the Yumejoshi genre.
It was like watching a small child playing tricks when the red-headed knight was doing tricks to impress the lady in front of her. Though, he wasn’t the only one playing protective knight once they got to the castle. The other guy, the seemingly more dangerous kind, finds themselves in these stories. Or it could be that ISFJs are a norm in these types of stories, but we haven’t seen that many to make the connection.

Also, seeing how things are progressing in the latest chapter, we may see a break soon. Hiatus is possible at this point in the story and is something that might be needed since one big thing happened. That being said, there should be a few more big revelations before the series goes into break.
