Tamaya listened to him patiently and waited till he had said his piece. She offered that he should meet his senior and have the talk for the last time so that there won’t be any regrets for him. Sasaki rejected the notion off-handedly, saying that his senior possibly wouldn’t care much about it.
Tamaya had known Sasaki long enough to tell that he was lying, and he was backing out from this due to his lack of backbone. And seeing a close friend suffer like that, she got and thrust him out of the supermarket. This made Sasaki even sadder as not only he has regrets over the things within the present, he had angered a friend as well.
